Introducing the Tupaia Steering Paddle

The Tupaia is named after the famous Tahitian Polynesian navigator from Rai’atea.

Designed specifically for OC6 steering in more challenging conditions, the Tupaia features a 23" long x 9" wide blade that provides excellent control, stability, and power when you need it most.

The blade features a subtle progressive V on the power face, allowing it to grip the hull nicely while “poking,” while also providing an extremely stable feel when paddling.

The Tupaia comes standard with an ergonomically subtle double-bend Hybrid shaft, a T-handle, and a 7° blade angle—an ideal combination for both steering and paddling.
